James Van Balen, Project Manager

James brings over 13 years of construction experience to the team, spanning from residential single-family projects to large scale heavy civil work involving roadway development and underground utilities.  As a third-generation construction professional—rooted in masonry, general contracting, and a lifelong connection to the industry, he has always known the path he wanted to follow.  He is recognized as a leader in our industry with strong attention to detail, consistently applying exceptional management and organizational skills across every project he oversees. James in an Arizona native and graduated from Arizona State University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in business and sociology.  Outside of work, life is full and lively as he and his wife stay busy raising their four children, whose ages range between 9 and 16 years old. As a family, they enjoy sports, spending time at the lake, visiting relatives in Tucson, swimming, and making the most of their time together.
